What Happens When a City Kicks out Lyft and Uber?

When Austin voters voted to remove Lyft and Uber, it left an on-demand ride-hungry population with no alternative beyond those yellow cars called Taxis of days past, along with around 10,000 of the companies’ drivers in the lurch.

That void has quickly been filled by at least two new ride services, Fasten and Arcade City.
